This project aims to upgrade water resources management and make desalinated water to be substitute water supply for improving water resources supply and management on outlaying islands.
After the project finished, the plant can supply 900 CMD water each day to ensure the drinking water safety of residents in Qimeiyu chronically and cooperate with the conservation of groundwater.
The plant consists of water intake and drainage system, pre-treatment system, seawater desalination system, and desalinated water storage facilities.
